Notes :
Transpiration is a process occur in plants, where the water lost from the plants through stomata
(more about stomata, klik here). Factors that can affect the rate of transpiration are light intensity, temperature, air movement(wind velocity) and humidity.
A potometer
(definition, klik here) can be used to measure the rate of transpiration in plants; assuming that the water lost from plant is equal to water uptake by the plants.
